Overview
Southern Peru’s Nazca region is renowned for its dry desert scenery and the mysterious earth-etched Nazca Lines.
Weather: The climate of Nazca is dry and sandy with little annual precipitation. Nazca’s average daytime temperature ranges from 25 to 30°C (77 to 86°F), while the city’s average nighttime temperature is about 15°C (59°F).
A constant wind blows through the area, helping you to endure the oppressive heat.
Altitude: Nazca is situated at around 520 m (1,707 ft) above sea level.
